An explosive fusion of gymnastics and modern dance, Aeros is a unique entertainment that has an enormously wide appeal, bringing together the skill and athleticism of the Olympics, the sophistication of modern dance and the spectacle of the Cirque du Soleil. What makes Aeros so special and so successful is the combination of talents it has harnessed in its creation. It has taken the genius of three of today?s most influential and innovative men in movement - choreographers Daniel Ezralow, David Parson and Moses Pendleton - in collaboration with Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas, the creators of the percussion/theatre sensation Stomp; added scenic, costume, kinetic and lighting design by Broadway specialists; commissioned original music and used all these elements to give a new context to the physical power and sinuous grace of Romanian gymnasts - some already world champions and some who undoubtedly will be. The result is a show that is breathtaking in its beauty, excitement and imagination. There is zany humour as well as sheer exhilarating energy, suppleness and control. A series of themed suites each with a different style, tempo and mood subtly makes use of the range of gymnastic disciplines: floor-work, parallel bars, rings, ropes, trampolines.
