When "Kylie - Showgirl - the Greatest Hits tour", her sold out world tour opened in Scotland in March of this year, it was her most ambitious show yet. Kylie played a staggering 23 nights at only 4 different venues in the UK. This included the record for a female artist of 7 nights at London's Earls Court Arena, where the UK leg of the tour ended on May 7. The tour, the biggest and most ambitious of Kylie's career, also played Europe in that time.
Kylie revisited her back catalogue, spanning the last 17 years, and creating a running order for the show which, as usual, featured a host of musical and visual surprises. Most of all though, it was a celebratory, hits - based show featuring what is, by common consent, some of the best pop music created over the last three decades.
