The quartet with trombonist Bob Brookmeyer, Bill Crow and Dave Bailey gave Mulligan great variety since both he and Brookmeyer could switch to the piano. This 1956 Boston club date now includes seven tunes added to the original eight, with great versions of "Open Country," "Rustic Bop," "Birth Of The Blues" and "Honeysuckle Rose" among them.
