| This Live concert performance DVD is derived from a BRAVO! Live at the Rehearsal Hall show that Randy did in 2004 in support of his JazzThing CD. It features a great line-up of renowned jazz-oriented and pop guest artists including: Curtis Stiegers, Joel Kroeker, Tal Bachman, Stephan Moccio, and Randy's wife Denise McCann Bachman. Stellar performance footage of Randy's original JazzThing compositions including "Our Leaves Are Green Again" - a song that he wrote following the renewal of his wedding vows in 2004 at the same time as he celebrated his 60th birthday - he co-wrote this track with Stephan Moccio and the words came out in minutes. Seems to be the way it happens with some of the biggest hits. It is an audience favourite. Other great tracks include I Walk The Line (J. Cash) with guest Joel Kroeker, and Randy and Tal Bachman trading off guitar duties on Looking Out For Number 1. Still more standout moments include saxophonist and singer Curtis Stiegers performing I Feel Fine (the Beatles tune) and Tal Bachman doing one of his originals, backed by his dad. A GREAT concert! And an awesome DVD. Bonus footage includes a "behind the scenes during the making of the JazzThing CD" and on the road touring in support of JazzThing, 0.5 hour documentary. |
