Drummer Robert Jospe' leads his septet "Inner Rhythm" in his third CD and first with Random Chance Records. This group has a very latin/samba/funky jazz style that can get you up on your feet.
They also have great straight-ahead jazz credentials and bring to mind the best of the recordings of the hard-bop piano genius Horace Silver.
Starting out as s regional band (Virginia, Maryland and DC) Inner Rhythm is now getting a much deserved wider hearing. Everyone should listen up!
