| Merging traditional Irish influences with blues and heavy rock, they quickly developed a unique style that echoed the great Thin Lizzy. Their first two albums contained high-energy boogie and driving blues, but from "Turn it Up" onwards, they began to show a greater awareness of melody and veered towards AOR. The band enjoyed success throughout Europe and even gained heavy rotation on U.S. MTV with a cover of Slade's "Mama Weer All Crazee Now". "Mama Weer All Crazee Now" features the band at the height of the success with a show from London during a UK tour in the mid-1980s. Amongst the tracks featured are the infamous cover of Slades "Mama Weer All Crazee Now." |
