Jazz pianist Keith Jarrett first came to the attention of many listeners during his three-year stint with the Charles Lloyd Quartet from 1966 to 1969. In 1968, they appeared on Jazz Casual, a television series hosted by critic Ralph Gleason which featured some of the most influential figures in modern music.
