Hot off their European/Israeli tour playing to sold out audiences, THIRD WORLD LOVE makes a one night only appearance at Joe's Pub on April 14th, 2004.
Beginning as a one time tour in Barcelona, the foursome instantly developed into a unique brotherhood resulting in the creation of a band that escapes every possible clich... With trace textures of everything, their Jazz-rooted sound travels throughout West Africa and the Caribbean, while blending a mix of Funk, Dub and traditional Moroccan music.
Their debut recording Third World Love Songs (Fresh Sound), released in late 2002, was followed by an extensive tour throughout France, Spain and Israel, where the music proved to be so infectious that singing and dancing becomes a natural for any audience member. The excitement generated from their debut album and tours brought them back into the studio, where they recently completed their second highly anticipated album, to be released Spring 2004.
