At the dawn of the 1970's jazz-funk revolution, Billy Cobham built his legend with his first solo album Spectrum. Worshipped today as a titan of drumming, Billy Cobham's career is now in its fourth decade. This collection features material pulled from his eight Atlantic album, recorded between 1973 and 1978, and features fellow '70s fusion pioneers John Abercrombie, John Williams, Randy Brecker, Michael Brecker and John Scofield.
