Eddie Harris displays his impressive and diversified chops on instruments such as reed trumpet, electric sax, and electric piano, and he also contributes fine vocals. David "Fathead" Newman recorded with many of the jazz and R&B greats of all time, including Aretha Franklin and Ray Charles. Guitarist Eric Gale contributes on the track "For Sylvia."
