The debut release by Sunnyside resulted in one of pianist Harold Danko's finest recordings. The set of duets with bassist Rufus Reid allows Danko to stretch out and display his advanced hard bop style. Highlights include "In Walked Bud," Jackie McLean's "Omega," "Red Cross," and Danko's title cut. Recommended.
