Live at The Forum in London's Kentish Town (Stereo) - 22-24. Mai 2006
Filmed live at the Forum in London's Kentish Town in May 2006, Puffing On A Coffin Nail captures Dirty Pretty Things in all their frantic live glory. The programme was shot over a 3-night residency by up-and-coming director Giorgio Testi, and the photography reflects the style and attitude of one of the UK's edgiest rock bands.
Formed from the ashes of the ubiquitous The Libertines, Dirty Pretty Things put aside all the other stuff, decided they really meant it, got their heads down and came up with the tunes. Early singles successes such as Bang Bang You're Dead and Wondering are featured here, as well as most of the tracks from their debut album Waterloo To Anywhere.
This DVD is crammed full of content. In addition to the main gig, the Go Anywhere feature includes tracks recorded live in various venues around the world - the viewer can select where to go specifically, or just pick a random selection of highlights and see where they end up. Also included are 3 mini-documentaries, 3 'making of the videos', 2 hidden features and multi-angle options. |
