Thrilling jazz, subtle eastern rhythms, acoustic guitar and piano solos, and, on several tracks, his powerful string arrangements for one of the leading UK orchestras - the Northern Sinfonia, interplay with his own brilliant work on tenor and soprano saxophones and bass clarinet.
