This record is, first and foremost, the result of friendship. Pianist Omer Klein and bassist Haggai Cohen Milo shared an apartment in Boston while studying together at the New England Conservatory of Music. During this period, they spent a lot of time playing together anything from jazz standards to Israeli songs, from Indian and Arab music to their own creations. This duet recording cut in the studio in May 2006, presents some of the material that was an integral part of their lives during the year, music that will brings joy and peace, delivering a small taste of the great vibe with which this music was created. |
