On Tuesday, April 8th, 2003, Verve Records will release the soundtrack to It Runs In The Family, a comedic drama staring Michael Douglas, Kirk Douglas, and Bernadette Peters. The 12-song collection features a new rendition of "You'll Never Know" from GRAMMY winner Diana Krall, the Rae & Christian remix of "Is You Is or Is You Ain’t My Baby?" Two of the soundtrack's highlights are Roy Hargrove's "Forget Regret", a preview from his May 20 Verve Records release, Hard Groove, with his group RH Factor, and jazz classics, such as "Where and When" by legendary vocalist Dinah Washington. Score pieces were written by composer Paul Grabowsky.
On screen together for the first time in their careers, Michael Douglas and Kirk Douglas join their real-life relations (Cameron Douglas, Diana Douglas) and a talented cast (Bernadette Peters, Rory Culkin) in a story about the loving, frustrating, reassuring, insane, and ultimately inescapable bonds of family in the MGM films release |
