Best known as the pianist with Charlie Parker's classic 1947 quintet, Duke Jordan, also worked with The Savoy Sultans, Coleman Hawkins, Stan Getz and The Roy Eldridge Big Band. Jordan's career was long and varied; he began recording as a leader in 1954 and also composed. This disc is the Jordan penned soundtrack to the French film, "Les Liaisons Dangereuses" (later adapted into English as "Dangerous Liaisons").
