Described by NPR's Liane Hansen as "sultry and sensual", WICKED LITTLE HIGH features 11 original songs including Academy Award nominee for Original Song In The Deep, the theme song written and performed for the critically-acclaimed Lion's Gate film, Crash. The album also features collaborations with Grammy-award winning producer Larry Klein (Joni Mitchell, Madeleine Peyroux, Shawn Colvin) and Grammy-award winning engineer/mixer Thom Russo (Macy Gray, Audioslave ).
Bird's music has also been heard on Nip/Tuck (F/X), House (Fox), Everwood, Family Law, as well as the John Cusack indie film Never Get Outta The Boat and others. As an actor, she has appeared in numerous film and television projects, including recurring roles in The West Wing, Curb Your Enthusiasm, and films with Diane Keaton, Tom Waits, and Anne Heche. |
