Chicago's Renaissance Man Non-Pariel, FLH and his Trio return with their third proper studio album for Atavistic.
With the sympathetically beatific rhythm section of Jason Roebke & Frank Rosaly, FLH pushes the Trio into a more experimental direction- yet somehow their signature creations of warmth and intimacy still command the proceedings. Trump l'oeil treats, and homage to Gainsbourg & props to the REAL old school complete the atmosphere.
We may not have made the '07 Valentine's Day release date- but a dose of TERMINAL VALENTINE is certainly good for the restless heart, any day of the year. |
