World-renowned accordionist Guy Klucevsek has played with the Kronos Quartet, Laurie Anderson, Bill Frisell, Anthony Braxton, John Zorn and Robin Holcomb, and is also a highly original composer in his own right. These stirring compositions are inspired by (among other things) John Cage, African melodies, sacrificial chickens and Fresh Kills, the world's largest landfill. Klucevsek has seven previous albums on Review, CRI, JMR, XI, Eva and Rec Rec and has been featured at Lincoln Center, the Berlin Jazz Festival and on the television show, Mr. Roger's Neighborhood. |
