The 1993 reunion of the Dixie Stompers at Riverside Studios/Delmark in Chicago was so much fun that Bob Koester and the band agreed to do it again, a year and a half later, this time with Karen Carroll stepping in for Katherine Davis. Koester and the Stompers had entered the record buisness together in St. Louis, and a celebration of that 40th anniversary seemed like a perfect idea. |
