Pharoah Sanders started his career as a long-time member of the John Coltrane quintet. This was his fourth album for Theresa Records, which was originally released in 1982. Now available for the first time on CD, it features five live tracks from a tour of the West Coast in 1981, and includes a 21-minute bonus track, Doktor Pitt. It is mastered from the original analog tapes and the A/D conversion was at 24 bit using the Pacific Microsonics HDCD encoder. |
