" Beware Of The Flowers " is the first ever DVD release to celebrate the extraordinary and somewhat different talents of a man who, to his ever-loyal fanbase, is one of the greatest live performers ever to take to the stage. John Otway - one of music's true characters, an amazing survivor who amazingly had his first top forty hit last year at the age of fifty. Otway has been performing and recording for almost thirty years and has built a staunch following through relentless touring.
The DVD features two of Otway's unique and legendary live performances - when this man hits the stage, anything can happen! Amongst the tracks featured are "Beware Of The Flowers", once voted the nations seventh favourite set of lyrics, and covers of "House Of The Rising Sun" and "You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet".
Also featured on the DVD is the promo made to accompany Otway's "hit" single "Bunsen Burner". A coordinated effort by his fanbase reaped enough sales in one week to give him a top forty placing with the single as a fiftieth birthday present.
