His unique fretless bass sound and style is both distinctive and versatile and his musical contributions with such greats as the Pat Metheny Group, Sting, Joan Osborne and Gil Evans are incomparable.
This long awaited Contemporary Jazz recording features Mark with an all-star lineup including Bill Evans-Sax, Clifford Carter-Keyboards,
Danny Gottlieb- Drums, Lew Soloff-Trumpet,
Jeff Ciampa-Guitar, Jon Werking-Keyboards
and David Charles-Percussion.
The twelve original Contemporary jazz compositions on this 64 minute state of the art recording illustrate Mark's impressive talents as both an innovative bassist and an accomplished composer. The music is eloquent, passionate, powerful and masterfully executed.
