The first CD by Glen Hall on Leo Records (CD LR 273, Hallucinations: music and words for William S. Burroughs) was a great puzzle: it got some outstanding reviews, yet was largely unnoticed by both the average critic and the public at large. This is the price any artist pays for being original. This time however, things are more accessible, the tunes are catchier, the music is closer to jazz. Glen's "Outsource" is six musicians, and the presence of Roswell Rudd makes everything swing.
