These six songs is a selection of eight hours of free improvised music, recorded in two different churches in Copenhagen, Denmark. Track 1, 2, 3 and 6 was recorded in Brorsons Kirke in Copenhagen, and track 4 and 5 is part of a concert in Vor Frue Kirke, the main Cathedral in Copenhagen.
The music moves from accoustic quiet passages to more edgy pieces with dissonant electronic sounds. In the field between the dirty sounding instruments, and the beautiful accoustics, our thoughts goes to to the monster from ancient greek mythology, Echidna.
the goddess fierce Echidna who is half a nymph with glancing eyes and fair cheeks, and half again a huge snake, great and awful, with speckled skin, eating raw flesh beneath the secret parts of the holy earth... |
