Plenty has been written and said about the Groovies and their music; "trippy", "dubby", "acid-pop-jazz", "ambient-lounge-funk". All of these apply and at one time or another have been more or less true... But one phrase has followed the Feeling Groovies from outset - "Man this band is a Crowd Pleaser."
Probably one of the hippest, coolest bands to ever come out of Melbourne, The Feeling Groovies truly defy categorisation. Part Pop, part jazz, part funk, part, latin/club, they regularly play to crowds of jumping, moving, grooving young people. |
