This album was a two-fold challenge, one musically, and two sonically. The first consideration is always the music. This album, because it was to be performed live in a studio, which means no overdubbing, created some interesting challenges. The musical concept was to be rhythm section and multiple keyboards. This not only needed special musical arrangements but also very sensitive musicians..... The second part of the challenge was the recording. We decided on recording direct to a two track digital format, which means live mix..no remixing...
This album was completed in the recording studio in five grueling days...these fice days made every person invovled with this project deliver more thatn he thought possible..as they say, "rise to the occasion."
