In 1962 organist Bill Doggett took time out from his successful R&B career to return to his roots ad record this big-band session with Ella Fitzgerald. Doggett's organ and simple, driving arrangements provided the perfect foundation for Ella's unassailable voice, proving once again that rhythm truly was her business! In addition to the original-LP's selections, there are two previously unissued bonus tracks.
