| New England is the seventh album for the British rockers founded in Torque, Devon in 1969. Wishbone Ash, famous for their twin lead guitar harmony’s (one of the guitars a at the time eye catching Flying V) became one of Europe’s leading band’s in the hard rock and progressive rock. The band’s eponymous debut album Wishbone Ash was released in 1970, after being recommended by Ritchie Blackmore after being the support act for Deep Purple. New England is their first U.S. album after moving from England to the Northeastern United States (New England) for tax purposes. New England is considered to be one of their most popular albums. |
