While it does not include Bing Crosby's biggest hit, the perennial "White Christmas," this collection of holiday favorites remains a good representation of the singer's many seasonal recordings. Among the highlights are "Winter Wonderland," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," and "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!" Any fan of Crosby, as well as good christmas music in general, will want to hunt this down. [The 1999 version of Christmas Classics added four tracks to the 1988 CD release of the album, although it would take until 2006 and a 16-track re-re-release (with a new cover design and illustration) before "White Christmas" would be added to the track listing.] ~ Jason Ankeny & Bradley Torreano, All Music Guide |
