On Here's to You Charlie Brown - 50 Great Years! David Benoit gives a fresh piano trio approach to Vince Guaraldi's classics aided by the masterful playing of Christian McBride on acoustic and electric bass, and Peter Erskine on drums and percussion. This musically solid group is featured on every selection on this disc, ably capturing the feel of the original Charlie Brown sessions, while giving Benoit a chance to stretch his considerable musical limbs on acoustic piano (which he plays exclusively throughout the album).
