In addition to the standard "I Hear a Rhapsody" and Dave Brubeck's "Summer Song," this enjoyable CD has five of his lesser-known originals including one called "Big Bad Basie." This particular Quartet (with clarinetist Bill Smith, drummer Randy Jones and Chris Brubeck on electric bass and bass trombone) has been together for quite awhile and all of their releases have their memorable moments.
