A long awaited solo album featuring one of the best British male singers from the WWII era, who was invited to sing with Tommy Dorsey's orchestra in America! Mainly standards, the 26 tracks here are either backed by Stanley Black or Robert Farnon, two of Britain's top conductors/arrangers from that period, and most of the tracks have not been on CD until now.
