Filmed during a three night stint at the O2 Arena in London in Autumn 2009, The Final Tour DVD, with a run time of 137 minutes, celebrates the 50th anniversary of Cliff And The Shadows' first collaboration. Musical gems such as their #1 hits "Living Doll", "It's All In The Game", "Bachelor Boy", and "Apache", as well as a 30-minute bonus feature with interviews and behind-the-scenes footage, are included. The Final Tour - Together Again will continue throughout 2010, with stops in Australia and their first-ever shows in New Zealand.

Sir Cliff Richard, in addition to over 20 years worth of chart success, was the first pop star ever bestowed knighthood by the Queen of England, receiving the honor for his tireless charity work in 1995. He has enjoyed 123 hit singles, while The Shadows endured with continuous chart success of their own. The recently released CD Reunited (EMI), in which Cliff and The Shadows re-recorded 22 of their beloved tracks sold almost 80,000 albums in three weeks. The Final Tour DVD, released overseas in November 2009, hit #1 on the UK Billboard charts. With the January 2010 release in the States, the American audience can experience the excellence this thriving musical relationship presents.

This musical release from Cliff and the Shadows captures the live performance recorded by the group in honor of its 50th anniversary, recorded in London in 2002. Some of the tracks featured in the performance include "Living Doll" and "Move It". ~ Cammila Albertson, All Movie Guide

Cliff Richard

Active Decades: '50s, '60s, '70s, '80s, '90s and '00s
Born: Oct 14, 1940 in Lucknow, India
Genre: Rock
Styles: Rock & Roll, Early Pop/Rock, British Invasion, Contemporary Pop/Rock, Teen Idols, AM Pop, Early British Pop/Rock

Britain's answer to Elvis Presley, Richard (born Harry Webb) dominated the pre-Beatles British pop scene in the late '50s and early '60s. An accomplished singer with a genuine feel for the music, Richard's artistic legacy is nonetheless meager, as he was quickly steered toward a middle-of-the-road pop direction. Several of his late-'50s recordings, however, were genuinely exciting Presley-esque rockers -- especially his first hit, "Move It" (1958) -- and gave British teenagers their first taste of genuine homegrown rock & roll talent. Backed by the Shadows -- clean-cut instrumental virtuosos who became legends of their own -- Richard embarked on a truly awesome string of hit singles in Britain, scoring no less than 43 Top 20 hits between 1958 and 1969. One of these, although it was by no means one of the more successful, was an actual Mick JaggerKeith Richards composition (the ballad "Blue Turns to Grey").
In his homeland, Richard's popularity was diminished only slightly by the rise of the Beatles, but in his prime, he had a much rougher time in the U.S., hitting the Top 40 only three times (with "Living Doll" in 1959, "It's All in the Game" in 1963, and "Devil Woman" in 1976). Richard belatedly cracked the U.S. Top Ten in 1976 with "Devil Woman," and racked up a few other hits ("We Don't Talk Anymore," "Dreaming," "A Little in Love") in a mainstream pop/rock style. He remains an institution in Britain, where he is one of the nation's most popular all-around entertainers of all time.
