For her third Capitol album, a 22-year-old Nancy Wilson was teamed with the great arranger Billy May. Of the twelve songs chosen, one ("Guess Who I Saw Today") became her signature song. The material ranges from great standards to a blues classic ("Stormy Monday") to newer songs like Curtis Lewis's "The Great City". Wilson recorded this album with a first-class LA rhythm section and, on four tunes, the great tenor saxophonist Ben Webster. Billy May then fashioned arrangements involving four trumpets and four trombones on seven of the songs. The album makes its first appearance on CD and is newly remixed and mastered in 24 bit.
