It's been three years since Gonzalo Rubalcaba's last Blue Note release, Supernova, dazzled the jazz world with the Havana born pianist's patented blend of technical virtuosity and contemplative interpretations of traditional Cuban themes and imaginative originals.
Longtime associate and veteran drummer Ignacio Berroa is joined by two exceptionally talented young musicians, electric bass player Jose Armando Gola and saxophonist Luis Felipe Lamoglia, who performs on soprano, alto and tenor.
