| Staind's three studio albums - the self released Tormented, and their Flip/Elektra releases, the platinum-plus Dysfunction and the five million-selling, #1 phenomenon Break The Cycle - exhibit a sonci fury and an introspective intensity that can be matched by few other artists. On July 16, 2001, Staind once again proved this in front of several hundred fans lucky enough to attend their concert for MTV Unplugged. The eleven-song Unplugged set on this DVD includes stunning acoustic renditions of the hits "It's Been Awhile", "Outside" and "Home", along with two performances not seen on the MTV broadcast, "Pressure" and "Suffer", plus backstage interview footage from thetaping. Terry Balsamo from Cold makes a special guest appearance. |
