The 1997 benefit concert Music For Montserrat features an all-star lineup put together by equally legendary producer George Martin. Phil Collins, Arrow, Carl Perkins, and Jimmy Buffet are a few of the luminaries included on this 18-song strong performance, which was recorded at the Royal Albert Hall on September 15, 1997. Sting's "Message in a Bottle," Elton John's "Your Song," Eric Clapton's "Layla" and "Same Old Blues," and Paul McCartney's four-song set ("Yesterday," "Golden Slumbers," "Hey Jude," and "Kansas City") are some of the many highlights from the video, which benefits the Montserrat Foundation, an organization dedicated to preserving the island's delicate ecosystem. A solid, entertaining collection of classic rock for a good cause.
