Peter Blake travelled to Dublin to sketch Eric Clapton in rehearsal and in concert. The result can be seen on the cover of Eric's 24 Nights live CD set. The remainder of Peter's sketches, a considerable amount of them, are featured in the 24 Nights scrapbook along with unseen photographs and many items of memorabilia reproduced in fine facsimile, many pasted-in by hand. A rare insight into life on the road with Eric Clapton, his band and crew. This sought-after box-set also boasts a highly-descriptive commentary volume written by the late Derek Taylor.Included in this boxed package are four guitar picks as used by Eric; a guitar string; a reproduction back-stage pass and a button badge. The box-set also includes the two-CD set of live recordings, with the following extra tracks made available for this edition: 'No Alibis', 'I Shot The Sheriff' and 'Layla'--the Orchestral Introduction. 3,500 copies.
