After two successful solo outings, Carly Simon released No Secrets in 1973, an album generally regarded as her finest hour. It became a massive worldwide hit, largely on the strength of the top Billboard single "You're So Vain," featuring Mick Jagger on backing vocals. Carly's singing is at it's best here. Her song writing is inspired. Producer Richard Perry provided the beefed-up sound that made this album very radio-friendly.
No Secrets also yielded another Top 20 hit, "The Right Thing To Do," featuring an all-star cast of musicians and backing singers including Mick Jagger, Paul and Linda McCartney, James Taylor, Lowell George, Nicky Hopkins, Jim Keltner, Klaus Voorman, and Bill Payne. This DVD-Audio was mixed by Frank Filipetti, producer of recent Carly Simon efforts, after consulting with Richard Perry, the original album's producer.
