Newport Jazz Festival, USA, July 3, 1960 - 26 minutes 1-5. tracks Muddy Waters at Newport is widely considered one of the greatest live albums ever recorded. Now available for the first time are more than 26 minutes from that legendary concert with three songs synced up to the original stereo master tapes, plus two songs not on the album. This concert is the best example of Muddy`s greatness ever to be captures on film. Includes the definitive version of "Got My Mojo Working", as well as "Rollin` Stone", "Mean Mistreater", "Going To Chicago Blues", plus two more.
Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Denmark, October 27 1968 - 35 minutes 6-13. tracks Muddy and his amazing 1968 band, with Otis Spann on piano, burn with both fire and finesse throughout one of his few complete concerts to be captured on film from the 1960. Includes "(I`m Your) Hoochie Coochie Man", "Long Distance Call", "Tiger In Your Tank", and five more.
Molde Jazz Festival, Norway, August 1, 1977 - 45 minutes 14-20. tracks 30 years after his first record, Muddy still reigns as king of the blues in this 1977 concert. Now the elder-statesman, Muddy and his top-notch band tear through such classics as "Baby Please Don`t Go", "Can`t Get No Grindin", "Prison-Bound Blues", and four more.
