First personal work of the young and talented pianist Inaki Sandoval, accompanied by Horacio Fumero and Peer Wyboris, musicians who formed part of the great Tete Montoliu Trio.

In an attempt to capture the freshness, spontaneity and vitality of each tune most of the tracks on the album are first takes. All are originals with the exception of 'Round Midnight (Thelonious Monk), My one and only love (Mellin / Wood) and Smilin' eyes, a beautiful song written by pianist Stefan Karlsson, a great friend and teacher of Inaki Sandoval during his days in Las Vegas.

Inaki Sandoval has become in recent years as one of the most important Spanish jazz pianists. His first album as leader (Sausolito, AYVA 035 - 2005) earned him the unanimous recognition of the critics, and has consolidated his presence in the circuits of Europe and America, having also a notable selling success in countries like Japan.

Born in Pamplona (Navarra, Spain) in 1974, he lives now in Barcelona, where he is the director of the jazz department at the Conservatory Liceu since the year 2003.
