Soul Ballet is the musical project of actor, producer, arranger, programmer, and multi-instrumentalist Rick Kelly. Soul Ballet's music is smooth contemporary jazz, characterized as pulsating electronic beats entwined with a dark, moody atmosphere. Rick brings in very talented vocals on each record and this will be no different. Soul Ballet has consistently been in the Top 10 Smooth Jazz Contemporary Jazz charts for over 10 years, one of the genre stalwarts. Rick is also a prominent actor who garners excellent visibilty (i.e. Nip/Tuck, Cold Case, etc.).

Masterminded by producer, arranger, programmer, and multi-instrumentalist Rick "R.K." Kelly, Soul Ballet mixes cool, smooth contemporary jazz with pulsating electronic beats and a surprisingly dark, moody atmosphere. Kelly is occasionally joined by a live rhythm section, as well as a series of guest vocalists (whose ranks have included Stefani, Annika, and Billy Valentine), but for the most part, it's his show. Soul Ballet's albums include the eponymous debut from 1996, 1998's Trip the Night Fantastic, and 2000's Vibe Cinema.
