This concert, recorded at Germany's famous Rockpalast festival in 2004, demonstrate that this all star outfit undoubtedly possess the musical pedigree to ensure the continued success of the Neville Brothers dynasty in the years to come. Son of Aaron, Ivan represents the new generation of New Orleans' legendary Neville Family. Here he fronts a stellar band comprising brother Ian and other up and coming musicians from the Crescent City.
Ivan, who sings and plays bass guitar, announced his arrival as a major talent with the release of his critically acclaimed debut solo album in 1988 and which gave him two hit singles. Two years earlier he had played on The Rolling Stones' 'Dirty Work' album and he has since played with a string of superstars, including Keith Richards and Bonnie Raitt. Acclaimed by critics, Ivan looks set to become a major star on the music scene.

A member of the next Neville Generation, bassist Ivan Neville went with Keith Richards on his first solo tour. The son of Aaron Neville, he has also played in Bonnie Raitt's band and was on The Rolling Stones' Dirty Work LP. His debut album If My Ancestors Could See Me Now for Polydor did land one Top 40 pop hit with "Not Just Another Girl."
