Clocking in at over an hour, this self promotional documentary meant to be a sister production for the first film is hosted by actor George Hamilton, who interviews Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, Donald O'Connor, Debbie Reynolds and Liza Minnelli. You'll feel more like you're watching a talk show than a documentary.

An eight minute clip with poor narration and production values, featuring sequences from the main attraction.
MGM's 25th Anniversary Luncheon Newsreel
At over 10 minutes, a slightly more in-depth featurette on MGM's gala luncheon shown briefly in the main attraction.

The Masters Behind the Musicals
Arguably the greatest documentary of the supplementary material, this 38 minute featurette focuses on the filmmakers behind the musicals, who of course made these compilations possible. Produced in '74, the documentary is more apropos of the first That's Entertainment! Features interviews with key directors, producers, musical conductors, arrangers and choreographers.
A Mike Douglas Show Excerpt
Clocking in at over 20 minutes, the show features several superstar dancers and singers, such as Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly, Debbie Reynolds, Ann Miller and Janis Paige.
The Lion Roars Again
A brief trailer promoting all of MGM's films released in 1976, including That's Entertainment! II.

Behind the Screen
A documentary clocking in at just under an hour juxtaposing clips from the main attraction with in-depth interviews featuring directors and producers that selected the sequences. The most interesting aspect is vault research. Behind-the-scenes footage of the film's narrated introductions are also included.
Musical Outtake Jukebox
Another lengthy featurette at 50 minutes, this one is a highly focused compilation of the fully restored musical outtakes chopped up for the main feature. It sure would have been a plus to see and hear this in high definition. But with classic, long-lost treasures, notably Frank Sinatra and Fred Astaire performing Take Me Out to the Ball Game and other great songs like The Harvey Girls, Mr. Monotony (sung by Judy Garland) and Pagan Love Song.
If you're looking for a "greatest hits" of classic musical footage featuring the most legendary song and dance routines in the history of cinema, look no further. The trilogy of That's Entertainment! will hook you up with the finest and rarest musical sequences from the Golden Age of Hollywood. Watching "Old Blue Eyes" singing in his prime or Astaire's classic dance routine on the walls and ceiling of the rotating room, I was struck by not just the incredible talent on display, but the innocence and joy emanating from the performances. While Hollywood has come a long way in technical ability and outright production capacity, I can't help but feel that it has lost much of its warmth and purity after indulging in these magnificent performances from the '30s, '40s and '50s. It is not the best way to show off your home theater, but That's Entertainment! represents Hollywood's most charming era and genre. Fun for the whole family.
