The 20 tracks on this CD are complete shows from National Guard radio transcriptions numbers 97 thru 100. The shows were originally designed as a recruiting campaign and featured many of America's top dance and jazz bands usually with a popular featured vocalist. This disc is unusual in as much as we have the great Woody Herman Orchestra and separately a major double act of the fifties, Les Paul and Mary Ford, an unusual combination but a fine addition to our very popular Let's Go To Town Series. |
