To the uninitiated, The Ralph Sharon Trio has absolutely nothing to prove on this, the trio's fifth CD in Avid's re-released, 'The Magic Of' series. These fine musicians, pianist and arranger Ralph Sharon, drummer Jack Parnell and bassist Lennie Bush are at the top of their form in playing their own personal, musical tribute to the vast repertoire and beautiful melodies of Jerome Kern.
