The LAKE Records 'house' band recorded at a special concert in 2008. A superb line up of, from the USA, Jeff Barnhart (piano, vocals),the cream of UK players, Ian Bateman (trombone), Roy Cansdale (bass), John Hallam (reeds), Keith Stephen (guitar, banjo), Gordon Whitworth (trumpet, vocals) and label boss, Paul Adams (drums). Special guest was the hugely talented Duke Heitger from the USA.
A great album with a big line-up of terrific musicians! This release is timed to coincide with Lake Records 25th anniversary and is a fitting tribute to this fine label. You are sure to enjoy this double disk set as much as we do! |
