THE RECORD SUPERVISION COLLECTION. The original LP plus some EP and singles tracks. Includes two tracks previously unreleased at the time. On most of the tracks the band is fronted by the fine trumpet playing of Alan Elsdon.
A new release in the on-going series based on the Record Supervision archive of classic jazz albums from the 1960s. Terry Lightfoot was the other clarinettist giving Acker Bilk a serious run for his money in the popularity stakes during the Trad Boom. The original LP is enhanced by some singles tracks and two previously unreleased tracks.
