This is not the "definitive Chris Blount", the "ultimate" or even the "best ever". It is my own personal tribute made up of recordings I was involved with in one way or another. I could have made other choices and there were things, which we left out ( as it is there are nearly 80 minutes on the CD). Not all were designed for super; high definition audio replay - at least one session I had not intended to record seriously - sometimes I have let my heart rule over technical shortcoming. Whatever, the circumstances, though, Chris's playing shines through. |
